Don’t Miss Trustee and Director Training Jan. 19 at Laramie County Library

Are you a trustee or director planning to attend the Thursday, Jan. 19, Wyoming Library Association Legislative Reception? Then arrive early in Cheyenne to take advantage of training developed just for you. The session will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. that day in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Library at 2200 Pioneer Ave.

Training will be led by former Wyoming Deputy State Librarian Jerry Krois. In addition to his many years at the WSL, Krois a former director of the Eaton Public Library in Colorado and a 10-year member/chair of the Meridian Trust FCU Board. He will focus on board leadership, board roles, policy governance and other relevant topics. The session will include supplemental material for you, and we are trying to work-in a “prioritizing grid” exercise.

That evening’s reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Wyoming State Library, 2800 Central Ave. It will be preceded by a legislative issues update at 5 p.m.
