The Wyoming State Library will be one of the host sites for the upcoming Wyoming Library Association 2016 Conference on Oct. 27. The event will take place in the large conference room. WLA 2016 is free, but don’t forget to pay any WLA membership dues.

As a bonus, the State Library will be the live host site for the morning keynote speaker, Wyoming Public Media’s Bob Beck.

Things to know:

  • Arrive at 8:30 for meet and greet before the morning keynote at 9 a.m.
  • Lunch is not provided. Brown bag your lunch or bring cash for sandwich delivery.
  • Want to do a face to face mini-presentation (10-20 minutes)? Contact Angie Wolff at angela.wolff@wyo.gov or (307) 777-6337. Plan to bring any tech or props you need for it.
  • The conference should wrap up by 3:30 p.m.

The WSL is located at 2800 Central Ave. in Cheyenne. Let us know if you plan to attend so that we may have a headcount for tables and other fun stuff like door prizes, basket raffles, and snacks. RSVP to Angie Wolf at angela.wolff@wyo.gov or (307) 777-6337, or to Cary Dunlap at cary.dunlap1@wyo.gov. Hope to see you there!
