Stephen Boss Receives WLA Distinguished Service Award

September 22, 2014 — The Wyoming Library Association (WLA) has presented its 2014 Distinguished Service Award to Stephan Boss, University of Wyoming Libraries Information Technology Department head. He will be honored Thursday, Sept. 25, at the WLA’s annual conference award banquet.

The award recognizes the significant accomplishments of a library/foundation employee who has been part of the Wyoming library community for at least the past five years, and his or her contributions toward improving library service to customers; contributions to WLA and the profession; and/or contributions to the community.

Wyoming Library Community Cookbook is here!



2014-03-15 22.04.08We all know that Wyoming librarians are great cooks, and now you can find all of those great recipes in one cookbook! The Wyoming Library Leadership Institute graduates have compiled a great new cookbook as a fundraiser for WLLI. Laramie County Library Featured in 8 Children’s Libraries



Laramie County Library was featured in a Neatorama.com article titled 8 Children’s Libraries That Make You Wish You Were A Kid Again.

The article showcased several libraries across the US and Canada and their exciting youth programs. Laramie County was mentioned for it’s after hours program the Annual Zombie Prom.
