Free Webinars to Prepare for the Eclipse

As national interest continues to turn toward the August 21 solar eclipse, STAR_Net is holding two upcoming free webinars offering tips and resources that you can use in your library to celebrate this celestial event:

Eclipse Cultural Connections
Wednesday, July 12, 1 p.m. MDT
Join Isabel Hawkins, astronomer and educator with the Exploratorium of San Francisco, CA, to learn about cultural connections for the 2017 Great American Eclipse.

Safe Eclipse Viewing
Wednesday, August 2, 1 p.m. MDT
Join NCIL Staff and Doug Duncan, Director of the Fiske Planetarium at UC Boulder, to learn about ways to safely view the 2017 Great American Eclipse.

These webinars are hosted through Adobe Connect, which requires Flash Player and may need Administrator approval to download. It is recommended to run the Adobe Connect Diagnostic Test ahead of time.
