Celebrate National Library Workers Day

Apr 9, 2024

National Library Workers Day is Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

This holiday celebrating the critical role library workers play in their communities began over twenty years ago and has been recognized annually every year since 2003 as an important part of National Library Week.

One way to celebrate National Library Workers Day is to contribute to the online Galaxy of Stars. The Galaxy of Stars lists each state and provides an opportunity for anyone (you!) to recognize a library worker who makes a valuable contribution to the community through their hard work, dedication, and expertise. Complete the online form to nominate your favorite library worker and add them to Wyoming’s list of professional making a positive difference in their libraries.

Let’s fill the sky with stars and recognize Wyoming’s amazing library professionals!
