The Daily Boomerang of July 14, 1890 announced that the cornerstone for the German Lutheran Church of Laramie was laid on July 13. It was the first German church in Wyoming and was called St. Paulus Kirche. Located at the corner of 6th & Garfield, the building is now St Paul’s United Church of Christ.
