On Tuesday, October 22, the state’s libraries will host Wyoming Snapshot Day 2024. This annual event highlights the importance of libraries to the state. Libraries will collect and share photos, videos, and comments demonstrating their importance to their communities. Wyoming Snapshot Day has a new website this year at wyomingsnapshotday.com.
“Snapshot Day is a fun and easy way for our amazing Wyoming libraries to showcase the important work they do in each of their communities,” said Christi Weinzierl, Communications and Grants Specialist at the Wyoming State Library. “We invite all Wyoming libraries to participate and are excited to share the impact of the valuable resources and services they provide their patrons.”
Wyoming Snapshot Day is a project of the Wyoming State Library and the Wyoming Library Association. For more information, contact Christi Weinzierl at 307-777-5919 or christi.weinzierl1@wyo.gov. Wyoming residents who wish to participate should contact their local library for details.
