Wyoming libraries have remained strong over the past years and continue to deliver excellent services to our communities, campuses, and schools. Last year’s conference theme was Stand and Deliver, and you have done that. Now it’s time to celebrate libraries as places of joy!
The 2025 Wyoming Library Association’s (WLA) annual conference will take place September 24-26, 2025, at the Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel. This year, as library professionals come together for WLA’s annual conference, the emphasis will be on how Libraries are Places of Joy, despite the ever-present challenges to those the library profession.
WLA needs your help to make this conference another success. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge and help your colleagues at Wyoming libraries improve services and create a joyful environment. How is your library creating joy? As usual, they are interested in receiving proposals on all topics relevant to libraries but also encourage you to consider what your library is doing to create joy.
The deadline for program proposals is April 30, 2025. The conference program planning subcommittee will review all proposals and make our selections by early June and will notify you of the status of your proposal by the end of June.
If you have questions, please reach out to Cristine Braddy at cebraddy@gmail.com. Please find the program proposal form at wyla.org.
