At the Crook County Library, Sundance Elementary 1st graders visited the library and got their very own library cards during Library Card Sign-up Month.
In September 2016, Wyoming’s public libraries added 2,464 new patrons. September was Library Card Sign-up Month, an annual celebration to remind parents that a library card is the most important school supply of all.
In FY16, Wyoming’s 23 public library systems had 397,997 registered borrowers in total —
68.1% of the state’s population. A library card gives patrons access not only to what’s in their local library, but also to loans from other libraries and to the many GoWYLD.net resources.
