Big Read Grant Program Accepting Applications

Big ReadThe Big Read is now accepting applications for its 2016–2017 grant program. Entries are due January 27, 2016.

The Big Read funds community-wide reading programs that encourage reading and participation by diverse audiences. Approximately 75 organizations will be selected to participate in NEA Big Read from September 2016 through June 2017. Grants of $5,000 to $20,000 will be awarded. Big Read participants will receive access to online training resources, educational materials, and promotional materials designed to support widespread community involvement.

The Big Read, inaugurated in 2006, is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts and is managed by Arts Midwest.
