Bobbie Morgan has joined Carbon County Library System as its new executive director.
Morgan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree in textile design as well as her master’s degree in library and information science at the University of Washington in Seattle. She has been working in library management for the past 18 years, including working in upper management as a director for several libraries and other organizations for the past decade.
Bobbie’s goals for CCLS are significant expansion of services throughout the county including, but not limited to, better partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Morgan is also optimistic that when the county economy recovers, CCLS will be able to provide more and better services to suit the needs of the populace. One of her top priorities is increasing the frequency of the courier runs to expedite circulation of materials to outlying branches.
