Cyber Lego Library Kits Available from Cyber Wyoming

Cyber Wyoming Alliance is thrilled to offer teachers and their students a unique opportunity to dive into computer science and cybersecurity with their Cyber Lego Library program. Through generous funding from the Wyoming Community Foundation, teachers can now check out a Cyber Lego Kit for an entire semester – free of charge!

What’s in a Cyber Lego Kit?

Each kit provides everything needed to teach foundational STEM and cybersecurity concepts, including:

  • Lego model with lights and wiring
  • Raspberry Pibreadboardpower supply, and cables
  • Two laptops and a wireless router
  • Comprehensive setup instructions and engaging cyber attack and defense scenarios

Skills Students Will Explore

Using these kits, students will develop skills in:

  • Engineering and circuitry
  • Networking and Python programming
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals with hands-on attack and defense exercises

How It Works

With step-by-step guidance, students will:

  1. Build and wire the Lego model
  2. Connect the Pi, router, and laptops
  3. Explore programs on the Pi and engage in real-world cybersecurity scenarios
