Deadlines Change for McMurry Endowment Grants to Libraries

Dec 7, 2022

Wyoming Community Foundation log in brown, orange, green and tan colorsThe Wyoming Community Foundation has changed its schedule for competitive grants, which includes the Carol McMurry Library Endowment Grants to Libraries. McMurry grants to individuals for training and continuing education have not been affected.

Instead of a summer cycle and winter cycle, the WYCF will have a spring and fall cycle with deadlines falling on March 15 and September 15 each year. March applicants will be notified of the decision by June 15, and September applicants will be notified by December 15.

These grants provide support to publicly accessible Wyoming libraries in three areas: education and training, library resources, and library foundation development. Libraries are encouraged to take this opportunity. Contact Brian Greene, WSL Library Development Manager, with any questions about the grants or the application process at brian.greene@wyo.gov or (307) 777-6339. WYCF staff are also available to answer questions at (307) 721-8300.
