Finding Earth Day Resources in GoWYLD

Apr 22, 2021

Cartoon Earth says, "It's my lucky day!"

Happy Earth Day! Wyoming libraries and their patrons can find Earth Day resources in GoWYLD.net. The Environmental Studies (Gale In Context) database is highlighting Earth Day on a topic page with an overview, magazine and journal articles, images, audio and video, and even a few biographies. One biography is for Denis Hayes, organizer of the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970.

Find it at GoWYLD.net under Science & Technology or in the Browse by Title list. This database is available in libraries and schools, or you can access Environmental Studies (Gale in Context) from home using a Wyoming library card and PIN. For assistance or more information, contact your local library or contact Wyoming State Library Database Instruction Librarian Chris Van Burgh at chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov.
