Digital Citizenship: New Lessons for a Changing World (edWeb)
Join Kelly Mendoza and Jamie Knowles from Common Sense Education to learn about exciting updates for fall 2018, including updated topics, new lessons and videos for grades 3–5, and materials that are easy to share through Google Apps. This award-winning, comprehensive Digital Citizenship Curriculum covers a range of topics from media balance to cyberbullying to privacy.

Bite-Sized Staff Training: Transform Staff Development for Busy Employees (Indiana State Library)
Discover ways to maximize the impact of staff training to fit the ever-changing needs of the modern learner. Using instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and personal learning styles, participants will learn tips and tricks to engage staff members using microlearning techniques that are easy to integrate into a busy library schedule. At the end of the session, participants will have tools to customize and modernize their staff training program.

#GivingTuesday Game Plan (Nonprofit Hub)
#GivingTuesday is the biggest giving day of the year and just 12 weeks away! The best way to have a successful Giving Tuesday is to build momentum online and offline. Join Kristal as she shares five components in cultivating a community of connected and engaged donors.  At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will receive a #GivingTuesday 12-week timeline.

Photography, Storytelling, and Community Connections: How to Develop a Photovoice Project (Public Library Association)
Photovoice is a type of participatory research methodology designed to empower participants through photography and the power of storytelling in small group settings.This webinar will introduce the project and its methodology, and will help attendees begin to design their own photovoice project.

PubMed for Librarians – Introduction to PubMed (National Network of Libraries of Medicine)
Attend this class to learn about the difference between PubMed and MEDLINE, how to run a basic PubMed search, assess your search results, analyze search details, customize PubMed with My NCBI, search for a known citation; plus, brief introductions to MeSH, automatic term mapping, search tags and subheadings.

Information Literacy Among the Elderly: Where It Stands and How To Help (Texas State Library and Archives Commission)
This webinar will provide an overview of the findings of national and international studies and publications on information literacy among seniors. Specifics will include information literacy among persons 65+ with a focus on health information, social media and scams targeted at the elderly.

Corporate Matching Gifts: The Beginner’s Essential Skills (Bloomerang)
Hannah Silvers will give a crash course in corporate matching gifts that will include breakdowns of the matching gift process, an overview of popular corporate matching gift programs, and techniques for marketing matching gifts to donors, all with real examples from nonprofits.

This presentation will demonstrate several interactive devices that are easy to use and can be adapted for home and classroom.They are readily available and are low cost. In addition, ideas will be reviewed on what to consider when purchasing interactive devices.
