Free Webinar: LGBTQ History Through Federal Documents

A free, live training webinar, “LGBTQ History through Federal Government Documents” will be offered Thursday, June 20, 2024, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (MDT). Recording and closed captioning are available.

Speakers will be Jesse Silva, Scholarly Resources Strategy and Federal Government Information Librarian, University of California, Berkeley, and Kelly Smith; Government Information Librarian; Librarian for Urban Studies & Planning and Environmental Studies; University of California, San Diego.

Learning Outcomes: This webinar highlights primary sources on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) movement from all branches of the Federal Government. As an update to presentations in 2016 and 2018, viewers will learn about the Federal Government’s position and actions on issues related to the LGBTQ movement since 2018.
