Get Ready for Wyoming Snapshot Day 2025!

Sep 24, 2025

On Tuesday, October 7, the Wyoming State Library will host its fifteenth annual online event, Wyoming Snapshot Day. Throughout this special day, Wyoming libraries are invited to submit photos of patrons using their library and comments and testimonials from patrons and staff about their library. These photos, comments, and testimonials will be shared on the Wyoming State Library’s blog and social media pages to show all of the great things happening in Wyoming libraries every day and highlight the importance of our Wyoming libraries to their communities.

The theme for this years virtual event is “Wyld About Wyoming Libraries.” During the Wyoming Library Conference, participants may pick up a themed whiteboard to use in their photos for Wyoming Snapshot Day. The board has a wipe-off space for patrons to write what they are most “wild” about at their Wyoming library, whether it’s books, board games, story time, or even their favorite Wyoming library professional. Be sure to pick up your library’s whiteboard at the Wyoming State Library table at the WLA Conference, or contact Christi Weinzierl at christi.weinzierl1@wyo.org for clip art to decorate your own board.
