Each year, Frankenstein Day on August 30 marks the birthday of the book’s author, Mary Shelley. Want to learn more about her or other notable figures? GoWYLD can help!

There are several databases in GoWYLD where you can find biographies. Try out Biography In Context, Britannica Library, African American Biographical Database, or Literature Online.
