This week, February 3-9, is National College Financial Prep Week! GoWYLD has several eLearning resources, including Mometrix and LinkedIn Library that can help you and your student plan for funding future educational plans.
Mometrix also includes a variety of test prep resources, as well as other useful tools for career development, but in regards to preparing financially for college, the article, “How to Apply for Financial Aid,” can assist you and your family as you plan for your student’s future. You can use Mometrix with or without logging in with your Wyoming library card and PIN, however, logging in will save your information and progress.
LinkedIn Learning is a collection of e-Learning courses on everything from professional and personal development to technical learning on specific software. Included in these beneficial courses is “Evaluating College as an Investment”, a course that discusses everything from how to choose the right major for your personality and goals to funding your education effectively.
