DEADLINE: June 15, 2023
Community enhancement grants for affordable housing, community resilience, community and recreation centers, economic development, libraries, monuments, memorials and science centers. Grants generally are less than $10,000 with most between $2,000 and $5,000.

USDA Community Connect Grant Program
DEADLINE: June 20, 2023
Helps rural communities extend access where broadband service is least likely to be commercially available, but where it can make a tremendous difference in the quality of life for people and businesses. The projects funded by these grants help rural residents tap into the enormous potential of the Internet for jobs, education, healthcare, public safety, and community development.

NextFifty Initiative: Advancing Innovation in Aging
DEADLINE: June 21, 2023
Invests in innovative projects that seek to rethink how people age, how they feel about aging, and how our society supports aging adults. Grants support new and/or ongoing projects that demonstrate innovation — what you want to do or what you’re already doing that explores a new, different, or better way to support older adults or address aging issues.

Spectrum Digital Education Grant
DEADLINE: June 23, 2023
The Spectrum Digital Education Grant, a program of broadband connectivity company Charter Communications, supports nonprofit organizations that educate community members on the benefits of broadband and how to use it to improve their lives. Supported programs should focus on families or seniors, partner with low-income or multicultural-based urban or rural communities, and have a lasting, tangible impact by, for example, the development of a new digital site or app, expansion of the capacity of a digital learning center, or creation of a mobile computer lab. grants will range from $2,500 to $50,000 in general; $1 million committed.

T-Mobile Hometown Grants
DEADLINE: June 30, 2023
The T-Mobile Hometown Grants program will help fund projects to build, rebuild, or refresh community spaces that help foster local connections in small towns. Towns of under 50,000 population may apply for up to $50,000. Grants are open on a quarterly basis; next deadline is June 30, 2023.

Nora Van Burgh Development Grants
DEADLINE: July 31, 2023
Nora Van Burgh had a lengthy and distinguished career in Wyoming libraries, and she was a strong believer in lifelong learning. The Wyoming Library Association’s Nora Van Burgh Development Grants honor her memory. These grants provide funding assistance to those who wish to enhance their effectiveness as library employees through additional educational experience. Non-degreed library employees are particularly encouraged to apply, though any current member of WLA may apply.

Carol McMurry Library Endowment Individual Grants for Continuing Education
DEADLINE: July 31, 2023
Want to attend a conference or workshop to build your library skills? Take an online course? Start working toward that library media specialist endorsement or master’s degree in library science? Funds are available to those working or volunteering in Wyoming libraries through the Carol McMurry Library Endowment Individual Grants for Continuing Education. Applications are accepted six times during the year. The next deadline is July 31, 2023, for continuing education events starting no earlier than September 1, 2023.
