The Lemony Snicket Prize for Noble Librarians Faced With Adversity
DEADLINE: February 1, 2023
If you know a librarian who has gone above and beyond the normal requirements of librarianship to stand up in the face of adversity with dignity and honor, please consider giving that person some much needed recognition by nominating them for this award. The prize consists of $10,000 along with an odd, symbolic object from Snicket’s private stash, and a certificate. The nominee must be a librarian.
EBSCO Information Services Library Staff Development Award
DEADLINE: February 1, 2023
An annual award consisting of $3,500 and a 24k gold-framed citation given to a library organization whose application demonstrates greatest merit for a program of staff development designed to further the goals and objectives of the library organization.
FINRA Foundation Library Grants
DEADLINE: March 1, 2023
The FINRA Foundation is accepting grant applications to help public and academic libraries meet the financial education needs of their communities and foster financial inclusion. The maximum grant amount is $50,000. The program also aims to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in access to personal finance education and information.
Carol McMurry Library Endowment Grants to Libraries
DEADLINE: March 15, 2023
These grants provide support to Wyoming librarians and publicly accessible Wyoming libraries in three areas: education and training, library resources, and library foundation development.
