Highlight How Your School Library is Involved in Digital Learning

Jan 11, 2017

[su_quote]Digital learning is any instructional practice that effectively uses technology to strengthen a student’s learning experience.[/su_quote]

Digital Learning Day is coming up on February 23, 2017, and the Wyoming Department of Education is planning a webpage with digital learning content. Part of this content is highlighting best practices from teachers and educators in a variety of formats. Some of these may be videos, or links to a blog or another form of media. This will demonstrate how digital learning is used in education. The webpage will be available for anyone interested to find ideas to use in their own lessons and programming.

If you are interested in highlighting how you use digital learning in your school library, either in collaboration with teachers or solo, contact Paige Bredenkamp at paige.bredenkamp@wyo.gov or (307) 777-6331 to let her know. You can submit a video of your class(es) doing something that involves digital learning, a blurb about it, an infographic, or however else you would like to showcase what is happening in your school library or libraries.

Let’s get school libraries recognized for the critical contribution to education that they are!
Check out Digital Learning Day to find more information. Contact Paige with any questions.
