The State Publications Librarian manages the Wyoming State Government Publications Depository Program. Responsibilities include the collection and distribution of all materials included in the depository program, oversight for the processing of tangible publications in the WYLD database using the WYDOCS classification systems. This position will also monitor the use of the library’s content management software in the curation of the digital depository, educate state agencies on the depository program and their statutory obligation to the program, and work with state agencies to increase accessibility to specialized collections through inclusion in the WYLD database or in the state library’s digital collections.
