The Associate Dean of the Ludden Library and Learning Commons (LLC) is a full time, benefitted position responsible for the academic, strategic, and operational leadership of Laramie County Community College’s (LCCC) Ludden Library and the extensive academic support services delivered through the Learning Commons. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, organizing, developing, administering and evaluating the functions of the Ludden LLC, which includes academic tutoring services, the Supplemental Instruction Program and Exam Lab. This position is responsible for the performance of the Ludden LLC including the information literacy program, planning functions, personnel functions, budget management, teaching, program reviews and assessments, scheduling, and communication and liaison functions.  Additionally, the Associate Dean is a member of the Academic Leadership Team (ALT) for LCCC, working in full partnership with other members of the team, to develop and assess academic programming development and review and support prioritized initiatives and activities. In the role of a change leader, facilitates other college, university, and state-wide library partnerships. The Associate Dean provides leadership for department faculty and staff to assure that instructional programs, resources, and services promote the welfare and best interests of students in a manner consistent with the mission and core goals of the College.
