Jun 3, 2021

June 3 is World Bicycle Day. Need a story to celebrate? Want someone else to read it?! Check out the video storybook and non-fiction pair in BookFlix: Duck on a Bike by David Shannon and Bicycle Safety by Lisa M. Herrington. This pair is perfect for a library storytime or for sharing with your own kids at home. Find BookFlix on GoWYLD.net and select from the Kids K-8 guide.

BookFlix is an online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction from Children’s Press and other trusted Scholastic imprints. This resource for children in grades pre-K through 3 will help early readers develop and practice essential reading skills and will introduce them to a world of knowledge and exploration. To use BookFlix at school or from home, you will need a Wyoming library card number and PIN. For more information, contact your local library or contact Chris Van Burgh, Wyoming State Library Database Instruction Librarian, at chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov.
