Order Resources Now for National Consumer Protection Week

Feb 4, 2022

Cartoon of man with question marks in background and thought balloon reading "CONSUMER PROTECTION" .National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) is set for March 6-12, 2022. Your library can find many ways to be a part of this educational event. It’s a great way to help those in your community understand consumer rights and make well-informed decisions about money.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has ideas on becoming involved, from spreading the word to planning an event. The NCPW site offers a press release template to customize for local events. Social media images and messages haven’t been updated for 2022 yet, so check the site closer to the event dates.

You can also order free materials to use at events or in displays — but act fast! Shipping takes three to four weeks, so place those orders now if you want to have them in hand for NCPW. These resources are not time-limited, so they may be used at any time throughout the year. They can also be downloaded and printed.
