Sara Marcus

Sara Marcus

After 11 years of service at the Riverton Branch Library, Sara Marcus, Library Assistant, has resigned. She is the new systems administrator at Job Corps in Riverton. According to Branch Manager, Gloria Brodle, Sara was the “go to” person for all things connected with technology. She played a large role in helping to bring gaming into the library. She helped present the program “Beyond Gaming Tournaments” at MPLA and PLA conferences. She attended numerous WYLD Network meetings in the past and had an extensive knowledge of Director’s Station and statistics gathering. Her knowledge and team spirit will be missed!

Blake Hill is the new Teen Librarian at Converse County Library in Douglas. He recently received his MLIS from Denver University. He’s excited about getting a TAG (Teen Advisory Group) going and about the book club he plans on starting in November. “Then there’s after hours gaming,” he said, “plus I plan on organizing a video game tournament every other month. I look forward to making the young adult section a safe, fun and educational environment for Douglas teens.”
