Deborah White joined the University of Wyoming Libraries as the Digital Collections Librarian. She has more than ten years of experience as a Digital Librarian. She holds a Master of Library & Information from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Idaho, and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Washington State University. Before coming to the University of Wyoming, Deborah served as an Office Coordinator Assistant at an ALE school in her hometown of Port Orchard, Washington. Outside of work, Deborah enjoys chilling with her cat, watching movies, journaling, and going on road trips to historical landmarks.

Becky Iwen, Youth Services Manager at the Sweetwater County Public Library System, was featured in the WHYoming column of Sweetwater Now honoring her many contributions to the Sweetwater County community. She has held this position for fourteen years, but began her library career as a library page at age 15. Read more here.

Esther Perez comes to the University of Wyoming as the newly appointed STEM Digital Scholarship Librarian. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, a Master of Science in Physics from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Rice University. This is her first library position, for which she is very excited to lend her experience and expertise to help elevate the level of resources offered and the scholarship produced at the University of Wyoming. In her free time, Esther enjoys exploring the outdoors, creating art, cooking good food, and spending time with her cat, Lucy.

Sammy Peter, Chair of Research and Instruction and Instructional Design Librarian at the University of Wyoming Libraries, was recently appointed to the post of editor for the Publications in Librarianship (PIL) book series for the Association for College and Research Libraries (ACRL). Outside of her library work, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening, as well as playing with her dogs and enjoying the beautiful state of Wyoming.
