Wyoming Snapshot Day is less than two months away on October 9, 2018. We have 26 libraries of all types signed up already, and we’d love to add yours to the list.
On Snapshot Day we collect and share the photos, videos, and stories that tell the story of your libraries’ value every day of the year. Your contributions are used for publicity and advocacy, including with legislators at the Wyoming Library Association reception planned for February. You can see last year’s Snapshot Day results on the website.
Participation is simple — take photos, collect comments, and/or shoot video showing life in your library and send it to Susan Mark at the Wyoming State Library. If your library’s policies do not allow photos of patrons or students, staff and library pictures are welcome. If October 9 is not a good date at your library, feel free to pick a different date around them.
You can do as little or as much as you’d like; even a handful of photos contributes to the overall picture. Interested? Contact Susan at susan.mark@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5915 to sign up or with any questions. Hope you will join us!
