The Wyoming State Library provides access to many tools to help you during this upheaval. Our online resources can help with remote reference and remote learning for your patrons, your library staff, and students at any time of the day or night from a home computer or device. The WSL has created graphics you can use on your website, emails, or social media to promote these resources. (See bottom of post.)

GoWYLD.net will take you to a list of resources by subject or alphabetical. Here you will find amazing databases and tools for kids and adults. There is also a link on the right to the ebooks, eaudio books.

Remote access is available for most GoWYLD databases with a library card from any Wyoming public or community college library and PIN. If you’ve forgotten your PIN, go to your library’s catalog in WYLDCat, and you can find a form to request it. No library card? Contact your local Wyoming library for assistance.

Subject guides and tutorials are organized by subject or by all. Select all to find guides for general research, kids, genealogy, history, and more. Each will include links to tutorials and lesson plans, if available. You will also find Help with GoWYLD and Information for Libraries.

Niche Academy offers quick introductions to some of the most popular resources. Look for the tutorials tab on the far right of the GoWYLD.net home page. (See arrow below.) Click for a popout with a list of available tutorials, or go to the GoWYLD Academy page.

If you have questions about using the GoWYLD databases, contact Chris Van Burgh, WSL Database Instruction Librarian at chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov or (307) 777-3642.
