Apr 16, 2024

The Teton County Library (TCL) in Jackson, Wyoming, had a lot to celebrate this year during National Library Week, which was April 6-13. Along with celebrating libraries and library workers, two new amenities were recently added-a coffee cart in the lobby and a new traveling book van.

The Teton County Library Foundation (TCLF) has partnered with two local business to offer refreshments available for purchase at a cart located in the Teton County Library lobby. The cart was purchased by the TCLF, with the equipment, staff, and coffee supplies provided by Snake River roasting and the pastries made by chefs at Provisions Jackson Hole. The cart was unveiled during the first week of April.

The TCL has also added a “Library on the Go” vehicle this month. The van, which features a wrap design by graphic artist Drayton Holcomb with Notyard Creative, will be used to bring books and other library resources to and from different parts of the community, allowing more patrons access.

Both new additions are part of the TCL’s strategic plan implementation.
