The Impact of Discovery: STEAM Workshop from NASA in Denver April 9

universe-1044106_640STEM + Arts = STEAM! NASA’s Discovery and New Frontiers Programs is offering a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) workshop in Denver on Saturday April 9, 2016. The event will take place from 9:30 to 3:30 at the Think 360 Arts for Learning Center.

The workshop will examine how the arts can enhance learner engagement and understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) ideas. It is designed for individuals who want to connect with NASA and discover STEAM opportunities they can share in settings including libraries, museums, science centers, schools, out-of-school time programs, and more. Explore science and engineering as human endeavor at its incredible best!

Registration is only $25, lunch included, and participants will come away with a flash drive containing activities aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) based on real mission science for learners of all ages including links to great online multimedia resources, as well as promotional materials such as posters, bookmarks, and stickers.
