The New Year Welcomes Two New Employees at Wyoming State Library

The Wyoming State Library welcomes Christi Weinzierl and Nick Marlin. Christi is the new Communications and Grants Specialist, while Nick is the new Library Systems administrator. Christi and Nick both began working at the Wyoming State Library on December 18.

Before coming to the Wyoming State Library, Christi worked as an instructional designer for WYDOT for about two years and as an elementary teacher for twenty years. With her professional experience and passion for writing, she brings many skills to the position.

“We are very excited to have Christi as part of our Marketing and Communications team,” said Greg Mosshammer, Marketing Lead. “Her comprehensive communication skills and grant writing experience will be a great addition to continue fulfilling the State Library’s ongoing mission.”

Nick attended the University of Wyoming, where he earned a bachelor’s in kinesiology. He then went on to pursue a bachelor’s in computer science at Colorado State University. With these degrees, Nick worked for the University of Wisconsin on the admissions tech team. Nick hopes to help keep the Wyoming State Library on the cutting edge of technology and to be a dependable resource for patrons.

“We’re excited to add Nick to our team. His background in technology will be a great asset to the WYLD office. I’m looking forward to introducing him to the library community,” said Desiree Saunders, WYLD Program Manager.
