Tina Jayroe has joined the Fremont County Library System as the Lander Branch Library manager. She began her new position on February 10.

Tina received her MLIS from the University of Denver. She helped the Denver Public Library implement its Community Technology Center as an instructor and tutor. She was most recently the Aurora (Colo.) Public Library’s Systems Department Supervisor where she managed the library’s ILS, IT services, collection development, cataloging, interlibrary loans, book donations, and department personnel.

Tina has presented some of her published papers at regional and international Library & Information Science conferences and has held official positions for the Rocky Mountain Special Library Association (RMSLA) and the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIST). She has awards for leadership, scholarship, and service.

In her spare time Tina volunteers for a soup kitchen and the Rocky Mountain Land Library, she enjoys non-fiction works, and spends quality time exploring the great outdoors.
