Using Snapshot Day Materials to Advocate for Your Library

Nov 15, 2021

Infographic with photos, comments and statistics for Lander Middle School LibraryYou went to the work of gathering photos, comments, and more on Wyoming Libraries Snapshot Day last month. What now? Use them to tell your story!

Jan Babits at Lander Middle School came up with a great way to use Snapshot Day materials. This infographic (click for larger image) incorporated photos, comments, and statistics that quickly illustrate the impact the LMS library has every day. She posted it on Twitter and on the library door and shared it with all school staff.

Demonstrating your library’s impact can influence supporters, stakeholders, and decision-makers. How are you using your Snapshot Day findings? Please share in the comments!
