Webinar Archives for Boards and Foundations

Jun 2, 2016

Training can help library trustees and foundation board members be more effective at governance, advocacy, and fundraising. If you follow the Wyoming State Library’s training calendar, you’ll find free, online webinars every month.

But how about those days when you see a webinar you’d like to attend, but can’t due to schedule? Many of the sites offering these continuing education resources offer webinars. Here are four of particular interest to boards and foundations:

  • Guidestar
Guidestar is a source of information on nonprofit organizations. Archive topics include board development, fundraising, legal, and nonprofit management.
  • Network for Good
Network for Good’s webinar archive has a wealth of fundraising advice. Also see their guides and templates and follow their blog.
  • WebJunction Course Catalog: Advocacy & Outreach
WebJunction promotes learning for library staff and volunteers by providing an open online learning community. Find webinars here on engaging your community and making your case for the library.
  • Wild Apricot
Wild Apricot’s webinar recordings cover many aspects of board and volunteer development.

Find upcoming events and subscribe to our training calendar at www.wyominglibraries.org/calendar.html. The training calendar is updated monthly.
