Who Are Your Library Stars? It’s Time to Recognize Them

Mar 18, 2024

Library workers continue to go above and beyond what’s required to meet the needs of library users. Let’s celebrate these stars!

Start planning now for National Library Workers Day (NLWD) —Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Recognize the people who make library service possible every day. National Library Workers’ Day (#NLWD24) is a day for library users, administrators, staff, supporters, and friends to acknowledge the valuable contributions made by those who work in libraries. Libraries and organizations are encouraged to host celebrations and submit names of Stars to honor great workers, teams, or departments. You can make as many nominations as you like. Give cool gifts to your staff to let them know they are appreciated.

Share your celebration activities by sending photos, news items, etc., to libraryworklife@ala.org. We can’t wait to see how you recognize your super STARS!
