WLA Hosts June EDI Conversation on Ageism

The Wyoming Library Association’s EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Committee invites Wyoming library workers to their next Open Conversation on June 21 at 4:00 p.m. All library staff are welcome to attend.

The topic for this discussion will be Ageism. Prior to joining, please take about 15-30 minutes to explore the Ageism.org website. The session will start with a brief video to get the conversation going. Members of the EDI Committee will facilitate the conversation.

This virtual space is intended to be a forum for discussion of ideas and for learning about differing viewpoints, not for debate. Guidelines for these conversations are available online.

Upcoming Open Conversations are planned for Intersectionality on July 19 and Mental Illness on August 30.
