The Wyoming Book Awards were recently featured on Teton County Library’s Back of the Stacks podcast. Eva Dahlgren and Jerry Bilek with Teton County Library were joined by Melissa Snider, Library Media Specialist at Munger Mountain Elementary School. The three had a great discussion about the contest and the books that have been nominated for the 2022-23 award cycle.
In March, students will vote on their favorites for the awards in three age categories:
- Soaring Eagle Award, grades 7-12
- Indian Paintbrush Award, grades 4-6
- Buckaroo Award, grades K-3
Students must read three books from their category to be eligible to vote.
The Wyoming Library Association and the Wyoming State Literacy Association jointly sponsor these awards. For more information, contact Melissa Snider, Wyoming Book Awards Advisor, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
