Wyoming Library Leadership Institute Application Deadline Extended to June 21

Jun 13, 2024

The deadline for Wyoming Library Leadership Institute (WLLI) has been extended to Friday, June 21. There is still plenty of time and room for applications! Please spread the word and share this opportunity with your colleagues!

Just the facts:

  • All Wyoming library staff are invited to apply.
  • This year’s institute will take place September 16-18 in Pinedale, WY.
  • Submit your application and one professional recommendation by June 21 for consideration to attend.
  • This is not a workshop on becoming a library director or a workshop on library administration.
  • You don’t need to be in a “leadership position” to be a leader—WLLI is about learning to lead from wherever you are (and wherever you might go)!
  • Your application and professional reference are crucial, take time to review your materials closely and choose a reference who will put in the effort on your behalf.
  • WLLI covers the cost for attendees from “the time you arrive to the time you leave.” (Lodging, meals during institute, and professional education ARE covered. Travel expenses ARE NOT covered.)
  • If you have previously applied and were not accepted to join the program, please apply again this year!
