Wyoming Snapshot Day Set for October 21

Aug 25, 2020

Wyoming Snapshot Day 2019 at Crest Hill Elementary School in Casper.

Wyoming Snapshot Day 2020 is on the calendar for Wednesday, October 21. On Snapshot Day, we gather photos and stories from libraries around the state to share how libraries make a difference in their communities every single day. Given the challenges of 2020, it’s more important than ever to show the value of our libraries, and participating in Snapshot Day is a great way to do that.

Although October 21 is the official date, we invite libraries to celebrate Snapshot Day on any day that week that works for them. We expect, given the pandemic, that things may look different than in past years — social distancing, masks instead of smiles, curbside services, virtual programs instead of live. Please still join in and share! Send us the photos and comments that demonstrate how you’ve adapted and are serving your communities in this time of crisis.

We’d love to have your participation. Contact Susan Mark, Wyoming State Library Outreach Librarian, at susan.mark@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5915 to sign up.
