Wyoming Governor B.B. Brooks, designated November 25, 1909 as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise throughout the State.
Part of this proclamation reads:
“The year now drawing to a peaceful close has been one of unparalleled prosperity. Law and order prevailed. Providence has smiled upon us with abundant range and bountiful harvest, and has withheld pestilence and disaster.
