WyTECC Conference May 6-7 Focuses on Technology in Education

For those of you interested in technology in education, WyTECC (Wyoming Technology-Engagement-Curriculum Connection) is holding its 5th annual conference May 6-7 in Green River, Wyoming.

This year, notable teacher-librarian-speaker-blogger Shannon McClintock Miller (a Library Journal 2014 Mover & Shaker) will be one of the keynote speakers.

This is a great chance to meet and visit with a librarian very active in the field as well as to be inspired with educational technology This local conference offers a chance to network with other librarians and educators and work in some professional development.

Other speakers for the conference are:

  • James Kapptie from Cody, Wyoming, who is a teacher, parent, and advocate for better use of student devices in school.
  • George Couros, a Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning with Parkland School Division, located in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada, as well as an innovative teaching, learning, and leadership consultant.
