TEI Landmark Audio’s 25th Year Children’s Literacy and Programming Grant
Deadline: Nov. 15, 2016
TEI Landmark Audio will award 25 grants of $1,000 each to support literacy for young people. All libraries are invited to participate in this grant opportunity, as long as they are public or non-profit community-based organization. The funds must be used for children’s programming/children’s literacy programming.

Round Five of the American Dream Literacy Initiative
Deadline: Nov. 15, 2016
The American Library Association is offering grants to expand services to adult English language learners. Applicant institution must be a public library serving adult English language learners and must be within 20 miles of a Dollar General Store, distribution center or corporate office. There are two categories of funding — one-time $5,000 seed grants for libraries in rural and other small communities to develop their collections and services for immigrants and one-time $10,000 grants for libraries with the experience and capacity to expand existing programs, add services and foster community partnerships.

Walmart Community Grant Program
Deadline: Dec. 31, 2016
WalMart Foundation awards grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 through every local facilities. There are four core areas that your proposed use of the grant should fit into: Hunger relief and healthy eating, sustainability, women’s economic empowerment, and opportunity. To ensure that your application has the best chance of being funded, the proposed use of the grant should fit within one of these areas of giving. However, programs that do not align with these areas may also be given consideration.

Directpackages.com Classroom Technology Grants for Teachers
Deadline: Feb. 24,  2017
Directpackages.com will award three teachers each with a $1,000 grant to spend on classroom technology to facilitate a more constructive learning environment. Applicants must be employed full-time as a Kindergarten-12th grade teacher at a qualifying elementary school, middle school, or high school in the United States.
