April is National Car Care Month, and Wyoming libraries provide automotive repair help for patrons to access 24/7 from GoWYLD.net.
During April, we’re highlighting ChiltonLibrary, an online resource that helps patrons save money on car repairs by offering expert, step-by-step guidance on how to conduct repairs themselves, or by having greater knowledge about their vehicle when taking it to a professional for service. Find Chilton Library under Auto Repair & DIY in GoWYLD.
ChiltonLibrary provides access to repair, maintenance, and service information on the most popular cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs on the road today. The troubleshooting guides, diagnostic trouble codes, photos, illustrations, diagrams, and multimedia (videos and animations) simplify even the most complicated tasks. For anyone training to be an auto repair professional, there are test-prep quizzes for ASE mechanic certification.
Libraries can find three promotional flyers here to promote ChiltonLibrary.
This and other GoWYLD.net resources are available in Wyoming libraries and schools. For use from home, you will need a library card and PIN from a Wyoming public or community college library. For more information, contact your local library or contact Chris Van Burgh, chris.vanburgh@wyo.gov.
