Cary Dunlap has joined the Wyoming State Library as Marketing and Publications Manager. He recently transferred from the
Department of Education where he served as Communications Director and Webmaster.

“I’m truly excited to join the Wyoming library community and to work with a great bunch of people,” he said. In his plans for the next 12-18 months are a new and improved Wyoming State Library website, a Roundup magazine redesign and several branding initiatives. He also plans to provide website and content management training to librarians around the state who are interested.

He’ll unveil a complete communications timeline in July that will outline these plans, “But the main thing I want to communicate today is that I’m thrilled to be a resource to libraries in the Cowboy State.”

Cary enjoys reading, writing, music, art, and many other creative endeavors. Originally from Michigan, Cary lives in Greeley, Colorado, and makes the 110-mile round-trip commute daily. His trusty 2001 Civic will be eligible soon to join Honda’s 300,000 mile club. Cary lives with his wife and kids and a Boston terrier named Ethyl who runs the house and everyone in it.
