Grants up to $2,000 are currently available to the state’s citizens and organizations from the Wyoming State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB) with funds received from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
The deadline to apply for the grants is September 15, with the grant period lasting from October 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
All projects related to the SHRAB’s mission of identifying, preserving and providing access to the state’s historical records will be considered. The SHRAB will assign priority to those applications that show commitment to developing and/or implementing projects that will lead to enhanced online access to historical records.
Grants are also available for ongoing training programs for state, tribal and local governments, local repositories, organizations, and others involved in records care in Wyoming.
Applications and grant guidelines are available on the SHRAB Webpage. Grant applications may either be e-mailed to Michael.Strom@wyo.gov or mailed to the Wyoming State Archives, Barrett Building, 2301 Central Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82002.
