Share Your Summer Reading Success!

Aug 8, 2025

The patrons and staff at the Greybull Branch of the Big Horn County Library created a “Color Our World” mural to culminate their library’s summer reading program.

August is now well underway, and many Wyoming libraries are beginning to wrap up their summer reading programs. The Wyoming State Library (WSL) and the other libraries in Wyoming want to hear all about your amazing summer successes!

Did you have an event or program this summer that went particularly well or that your patrons just loved? Did your library host something unique or even just new-to-you this summer?

Share photos of the event or program, details about what happened, who attended, etc., and quotes from patrons or library staff regarding the event using the WSL’s Summer Reading Event Outrider Submission form.

It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s a great way to:

  1. Get the word out about all the great things going on at Wyoming libraries.
  2. Share your amazing ideas with other libraries.

Photos, information, and quotes are synergized into blog posts, social media posts, and articles for the WSL’s monthly newsletter, the Outrider. If you are a library professional with a flair for journalism, feel free to write the event up yourself, or just complete the form with the information and we’ll be glad to do the rest!

The WSL is excited to hear all about your summer reading events and help share the love with other Wyoming libraries. Share your photos, information, and quotes today!
