Building a maker program is making, too! And keeping the program staffed, funded, and operating smoothly can be daunting.
Join Library Makers for a free webinar, Building the Makerspace Program Is Making, Too!, Friday, December 13, 11:00am – 12:00pm MST.
At this event, participants will be guided through a process for designing, planning, building, and sustaining a makerspace/program using a practical guide, The Makers in the Library Toolkit. This free-to-download toolkit was updated in 2024 with new content and examples from libraries around the nation, with special emphasis on how to implement a program on a small staff and budget. The suite of five design phases and 21 downloadable tools are adaptable for any type of library or organization interested in creating a maker program.
Attend this session to get a tour of the toolkit and hear how different libraries across the country have used it in their work.
