Free Webinar-Unlocking Innovation: How to Perform a Successful Patent Search

Oct 29, 2024

Anne Kuipers, the Wyoming State Library’s Patent and Trademarks Librarian, will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar, “Unlocking Innovation: How to Perform a Successful Patent Search,” on October 29, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. (MDT)

The webinar’s topics will include the basics of patents, how to use the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) patent database, Patent Public Search; and how to perform a simple six-step prior art search, which helps determine whether an idea is patentable and provides a solid foundation for moving forward with a patent search. The webinar also will include a brief question-and-answer session, along with information on additional resources and free assistance for navigating the patent process.

You may register for this free webinar here.
